Notes from the reader
The postcard is in good condition, only a few small wrinkles around the corners. There are no spelling mistakes or miscellaneous markings. The building on the front of this postcard is of High Street Station, formerly the main Westerly Post Office, and is a historic US post office at the intersection of Broad and High Streets in Westerly, Washington County, RI. The building was designed by architect James Knox Taylor and was built between 1913-1914 and is made of Vermont marble. The building was added to the NRHP as a US Post office on August 12, 1971.
