I peered through the window of my kindergarten classroom I spotted the sink that used to fall waist high and saw my little five-year-old self peering into the mirror just above it not embarrassed by my centimeter-long bangs, a badge of honor from playing hairdresser, but making sure to cover my mouth as I giggled because some little boy made fun of my smile
